Group Coaching Workshop

Can YOU turn redundancy into opportunity?

Turn your dreams into reality?
Discover the work that is perfect for you?
Why not try with the support of a professional coach and
share your experiences on this low cost workshop?
You don't need to struggle on alone!

Are you

Have you ever read in the paper about someone, or know someone yourself, who said redundancy turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to them – after they got over the shock and initial worry about how they would survive? It gave them an opportunity to take stock and find the work and career they really wanted to do, to be the person of their inner dreams.

These coached workshops will help you take control and discover your opportunities:

Coaching is a practical and positive way to move on from redundancy and especially to discover the opportunities that this situation can bring. These workshops are about you and what you want, how you can develop the life you want and get where you want to be. They don't cover how to write your CV or prepare for interviews, which may be your next stage, and we will point you towards the many places you can find this kind of support.

Numbers are limited on each workshop. We aim to keep numbers low to ensure that you have a high quality experience of the group coaching workshops and personal attention with the coach, Dr Sue Mitchell. This means we can better help you to make the changes you want.

Week 1. Take control and understand yourself – sort out the basics for survival. Where are you now? How are you responding to change and how would you like to feel? How well do you know yourself - who are you, what matters to you and what makes you tick? Create your vision of your ideal future – what do you really want?

Week 2. Uncover your hidden potential and explore your options – identify the difference between the life you do lead and the life you dream of. How can you overcome resistance and other barriers that get in the way? What are your strengths, what are you not so good at, what do you like doing, what do you not like doing? Are there any gaps for what you want to do? How will you fill the gaps? How will you build on your strengths?

Week 3. Plan your future – How to set goals well and in alignment with your personal values and vision. How can you make better choices? Make your plan to move your career forwards to do the work you love to do.

What you can expect - although we've discounted the price enormously to a level that essentially covers our costs, this is still a quality, high value group coaching workshop, which is about helping you make the changes you want in your life. You have the opportunity to work through exercises we will send you to prepare in advance so you can get more out of the coaching and group activities during the workshop. Each course runs over three consecutive weeks - see dates below.

MY PERSONAL COMMITMENT TO YOU - I know how it feels to be facing an uncertain future and would like to offer support to anyone who is facing redundancy and wondering where to go next. I feel there is a lot of support available about looking for jobs, writing CVs and how to apply and interview (and I will point you towards the free resources I think are good!). However there is far less support for the crucial earlier stage to help you work out what is the right job or career for you (including self-employment as well as employment). Even more important, having been through this process myself, I know it is critical to first work out what future you really want and what will lead you towards a more successful and happier life, before looking at what jobs to apply for. I also appreciate that, at times like these, we naturally feel reluctant to spend much money even when we know that investing in ourselves could change our future for the better. That is why I am offering these group coaching workshops at a very special price and at the usual high quality, to bring you huge savings on the usual price of £200-£240. Sue Mitchell.
Special offer – only £75 for the course of all three workshops.
